Well, the last couple of weeks have been a bitch. But, I'm still here and still alive. And I'm happy again.

I just finished reading Eldest by Christopher Paolini. If you haven't read Eragon or Eldest, read them both. They're great stories. Paolini hits you with a real curve ball at the end of Eldest though. Be prepared!

Anyways, after I do some reading for school, I plan to pick up C. S. Lewis's The Screwtape Letters. And for the summer, I suspect I shall be reading Faust for the fifth time.

I go home this coming Friday to see Jenna. Next weekend marks six months of us being together. She is everything to me. And I love her. I hope she's as excited as I am.

soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo here's a summary of the past 2 months

Thanksgiving break: good times with friends, got to go out to dinner with jenna, dave, and the family for my birthday. got a scanner.

Exams: let's just skip this part

Christmas break: good time. I got to see Jenna a lot. I spent a lot of time working on her gift and I thought it turned out well.

After break: Jenna's formal. A great evening with Jenna. We had several very romantic moments. Ski trip: fun as always.

well i'm back at school. Jenna and I went out Friday night and had a great time. Also watched Hero with my dad and got the new Batman movie on dvd. Bad part of the weekend: I found out yesterday that there was an anomoly on my last EKG, which although it may be nothing, needs to be seriously checked because of a family history of heart problems. So I'm gonna be back home in a couple of weeks for that.

i get to go home thursday evening. Which means some family time and some friends time. most importantly, however, it means time with Jenna. I can't wait to see her. anyways I got back from fall break yesterday. the weekend was fun. went to homeoming, went to church, saw Corpse Bride with Jenna, etc. I also ordered my boken, which aren't here yet. and that kinda makes me sad. as well as the fact that I had the shitting hardest exam ever. Oooo!!! But I did beat max payne 2 today!!!! and also i got 2 GI Joe 6" ninja figures. they're cool.

I didn't get any sleep last night. I don't know why. I just lay in bed all night wishing i could fall asleep. My head hurts today. I had to drop European Literature for reasons beyond my control. And overall I'm in a very depressed mood. This is gonna be a great day.

It's one of the days where I wonder why the fuck i'm here. I never really wanted to go to college. I never really knew what I wanted to do. So I'm here learning to be a history teacher. I figure it'll be a nice job while i figure out what I really want. I know my parents don't like it because they know it's not really what I want to do. They want me to be an architect. I used to want to be that too. I don't know what changed, but I don't want to be that anymore. I love art and I love making things...but I can't do it for a living.

So I don't know what I want in life. I suppose the most important things to me are love, family and friends. I want to get married. I want to go to Japan. That's all I know.

As usual I wish I lived in a different time and place. I wish I could live a simpler life. I wish I wasn't the way I am.

But wishing never accomplished much.

Alright, so for everybody who thought that once you got to college stupid fights and drama would end, I have bad news: it doesn't. By no means. My 3 best friends at school and I spent most of Friday afternoon fighting, and we don't really know why. But it all turned out well in the end and I think we're a little closer now.

Anyways, I'm loving school. My classes are great, I get to read cool stuff, I get to write fun stuff, and I finally broke out of my artist's slump thanks to an assignment. All around it's just good.

Well I miss all you folks back home. You guys should all try to come visit me sometime this year (this includes all you Raleigh people).

Kamelot, my favorite band in the world, is playing in West Springfield, VA, on 11/17/05 at 6:00 for $25. THIS IS A BIG DEAL. They hardly ever play in the US and i'm not sure they would be right now if not for the unexpected success of Black Halo. So I've GOT to go see them. There is no choice.

classes are pretty solid, but I don't have any close friends yet, which is kind of a drag. I miss everybody, but i should be home labor day weekend, so I'll see you all then. I'm still looking for a Jeet Kune Do dojo. I'll probably have more luck once Justin moves into Elon since he was gonna ask his master.

and being away from home rocks. i'm out til around 11:30 or 12:00 most nights, and when i'm not it's cuz i was the only one of my friends who thought ahead and did homework early. word up study habits.

hey everybody! I'm home from Passport. It was a good week and definitely helped me to sort out some things in my life.

I've started a new medication. It's going ok, except that yesterday I forgot to take it cuz I was packing all my stuff. It's one of those ones that has to build up in your system in order to work and similarly if you are going to stop taking it you have to do so gradually. Apparently I've built up enough of a physiological dependence on it that if I forget to take it I have a bad time. Needless to say, yesterday evening was miserable. But oh well. I'm still alive.

Happy birthday to Sonja! I'll get you something, but I'm not sure what yet.

Ahhhhh...end of a most excellent 4 day weekend. Senior skip day was Thursday, Prom Friday, chillin Saturday, application for UNCG today.

Prom was great! I danced almost the whole night. It was so much better than any prom i've ever been to! Jenn had a good time too, which is good. Funny story:

We're at NeoChina for dinner and David pipes up and says (just for my embarassment): "Hey Jenn, just so you know Will is debating whether or not he should hit on you tonight." I got all red in the face as i'm prone to do, and we moved on. So then they bring the fortune cookies, 2 per person. I open the first and it said "You should pursue a love interest tonight." We all had a good laugh, i got embarassed again. So then I opened the second. It read "Isn't it about time you asked that special someone out on a date?" I was beet red at this point. Jenn still has the fortunes. Y'all can ask her what they say exactly.

Anyways, I applied to UNCG today, and hopefully I'll get in there.

well I've had one of the worst weeks ever.

I got rejections from Davidson and UNC. I was apparently supposed to be rejected by NC State Engineering but they sent the wrong letter. Now I'm appealing my State application.

I've worked my butt off this week. And I have shit to show for it. Not into any college yet, tired, and single.

Yeah for those of you that don't know, Sonja and I have split, but we're still good friends (i.e. I still call her every night. and more on my side, but whatever.) It's the part of my week that sucked the least.

But now I'm an Eagle Scout. had the ceremony today. Got to spend some time with the guys, Elissa, and Mikhala, who is somebody I don't get to spend enough time with.

so here it is: my week has sucked, my life sucks right now.
I have been rejected from 2 of the school's i was REALLY interested in. I figured GA Tech would. I got NC State design yesterday. They accepted a total of 128 students. Unfortunately for me, I was probably at a disadvantage having never taken a high school art class. My State application has been forwarded to the Engineering school, which I may get into. Really, now I'm just waiting for UNC. If I don't get in there, I'll probably get a job and just wait 'til next year and apply again.

We had our hardest day of sprinting pracice today. I did 100 situps, 100 pushups, and 2 minutes of TV (although the name suggests it, it is not enjoyable). But it gets better from here!
Um...David is ubersick right now. Like a cold so bad he coughed up some blood. If he gets me sick, I keel heem.
UMMMMMMMM...My youth group's lockin is this friday night....ummmm...OOOH!!! I finally got my Eagle for Boy Scouts!!! I am one of the elite now.

Well I just gotta get this off my chest: you RCHS buttholes suck eggs. Me and my "homies" here in the bull city still have to go to school tomorrow.
Anyways, I've spent my weekend doing a few things: mainly, my comic for Spanish. It's good. but I'm slowly being forced to ruin it. Yes. You heard me right: I'm being forced to color it. Another drawing doomed by teachers who want color. I ask for a moment of silence in memory of what was my creation of black and white.
Also played some basketball yesterday. It was a clash of the titans I dare say. It was "White Lightening Will" and "Joe the Iron Curtain" vs. "Bighouse Ben," "The Special K Special," and "Unair Nathan." In the end we won 2 and lost 2. 50% baby!!!!

And I saw Troy. I give it a 6 at best. Combat was good. Story was...totally blown.
And I miss Sonja. Hopefully I'll get to see her Friday before I go skiing saturday.

Sonja came over last night for a while. She had to go home kinda early cuz she wasn't feeling good, but we had a good time. I got her a necklace and made a card. And she gave me the greatest card ever.
I finally saw "Spirited Away." Such a great movie. Ummmm... track starts this week...but I think I might've messed up my knee somehow. I'll know for sure as soon as practice starts. And I got volume 1 of Bleach today. good comic. I also finally had some inspiration for my own comic, which i finally started today. I'd like to thank the guitar solo from "Bleed" by Angel Dust and the upstairs shower for somehow inspiring me. I'll let you know when I finish Setekara Chapter 1: War of the Eternal.

Yay! I got a new template...I hope it's easier to read.

Anyways, I had my 4 month late Bday party saturday night. I hope everybody except for Dave and Dave had a good time, 'cuz they're antisocial posers.
Anyways, here's the rundown:

Sonja- The Last Samurai soundtrack (^_^ thank you so much! i love you!)
Hunter and Dan- $20 and the Godzilla card.
Joe and Scott- $20 card for Suncoast.

I used my giftcard today and got Peacemaker Kurogane Vol. 2. It's great.
And I got to spend...8 or 9 hours with Sonja on saturday and Hunter kicked my butt in Halo 2. But I beat Scott and Joe.

Sonja's coming to see the opera tomorrow so she can see the whole 10-20 minutes i'm in it for, then she'll be stuck sitting with ryan, spencer, and elissa. and nick and SJ are making out in the same room as me. if i ever do such things with my girlfriend while other people are in the room and the lights are on, please shoot me.

So yeah, Happy Holidays, good new year!!!

It's 1:11 here in durham on January 1st, 2005. Dave and Tansy just left. We had a good time.

Lesseee....Christmas was good. Outstanding gifts include: Das Boot dvd (from Sonja), Akira Kurosawa Samurai Movie Collection, Speed Racer shirt, and a Batman calendar.

I got to see Sonja on the 23rd, and we exchanged gifts. I gave her a copy of Faust by Von Goethe. Then we wasted time watching the Southpark movie and just having fun being together. The day after christmas, we went up to Buffalo Junction, Virginia to see the Pittards, and I got nearly enough praise from children to last me 30 years. Then on Tuesday I went to Raleigh and got to hang out at Sonja's house for a few hours. We went for a walk, watched Kill Bill 1&2, and had lunch. So now she's in South Carolina and I had some friends over for New Year's. And that's about it. Oh, and I got to do some dove hunting today. That was fun.

Any ways, I'ma go now. I miss Sonja...

Ok, now to add to the worthless crap i posted yesterday.

This past weekend was possibly one of the best weekends ever. Christmas party friday night, followed by HALO tournament. Continued HALO Saturday morning, Trainee reunion Saturday night. Youth Group Sunday night, featuring total ownage by the Senior High Guys team. Finally, last night I was looking for some Eric Clapton in my Dad's CD collection, and as a result found a 1987 copy of U2's The Joshua Tree (YES!!!!). Thus, my weekend pretty much rocked.

The only improvement which could have been made would have been if I had gotten to see Sonja. But we were both busy (as you can see, I was).

well hey everybody! It's been like a month since i updated!!

Anwho, my birthday was pretty good, got a new backpack for hiking, got some Queen and Wynton Marsalis. Lemme see...school's alright. SPANISH STILL SUCKS EVEN IF I'M DOING WELL!!!!!

Howdy folks!

anywho, I finished my Eagle Project on Thursday, and now I just need full approval and 2 merit badge. and I've still got 11 days to finish.

Since I know a certain girlfriend of mine will never mention it, I suppose I'll talk aboot (haha...aboot...those crazy canadians...) last night.

So...i picked her up at 3:30 from Southpoint and took her back to my house. it was raining, so no walk *total suckage!!!* Instead we watched Jin Roh and snuggled on my sofa. then we went to Kanki for dinner, came back to my house, finished Jin Roh, watched some of Shrek 2. (and no, david, none of that time was wasted.) it was fun.

well, it seems i'm out like a fat kid playing dodgeball!

Anyways, I'm worried about Sonja. She's had a bad couple of days, always about the time I call her. She's tired and working too hard. I hope she starts feeling better soon.

I have Thursday off, and I'm taking Sonja to dinner (at Kanki) on Friday!! YAY!!!!!!
And I have a bruised tendon in my foot, which I got hiking this weekend. Fun.

And Today's History test sucked. Nobody passed. Hooray.

As the title suggests, today was the best day ever.

Me and Sonja went to Ghost In The Shell 2. It's amazing.

So now I've received to early birthday presents (both times sonja made a mistake.). First, we're dating now. Second, I got my first kiss today (awesomeness).

So, today was, how you say, moderately down with the awesomeness. Yes. Those are the words a was wanting the usage of.
In other news, I'm going to the fair tonight. It might be ok. I'm gonna see if dave wants to go, cuz i know Sonja isn't. but 2 days til sonja comes to durham!

I ate lunch with Jackman today. We talked about politics, Anime, and how much we hate the freshmen in anime club (damn freshmen i hate them so much!!!!), and how much we hate David Andrews (congrats for being the only gay i hate.)

Yeah, school's aight, and so is my house. but my car is better than good. and that's all I have to say about that.

Well, today my head doesn't hurt, which is always a good sign. So far, other than being sick, this week is looking pretty good. Sonja's supposed to come ovr for a few hours on saturday, which is gonna rock. Currently, she's annoyed with me for figuring out what she was gonna give me for my birthday. I've made another suggestion, but she has yet to take note of what it is (keep working on it. you'll figure it out eventually. Hint: it's something I don't have.)
